Ginni is a Registered Nurse who completed her Bachelor of Nursing at Waikato Institute of Technology in 2009. She began her career in a large GP practice in Hamilton, where she developed a strong interest in skin cancer and dermoscopy.
She completed a Certificate in Dermoscopy through the Skin Cancer College of Australasia in 2014 and later a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science at the University of Auckland in 2018. Ginni has continued to expand her expertise in dermoscopy, completing the Advanced Certificate in Dermoscopy with HealthCert followed by the Professional Diploma of Dermoscopy.
Before moving to beautiful Queenstown, Ginni worked in a dedicated Skin Cancer Clinic in Hamilton. During this time, her passion for skin cancer prevention and early detection grew, and she found great satisfaction in supporting patients through their skin cancer journey.
Ginni joined Skin Institute in 2021 and is now the Senior Nurse Coordinator and Nurse Dermoscopist. She has particularly enjoyed helping implement the SkinTrackerâ„¢ system across clinics nationwide and values the important role this technology plays in the early detection of melanoma.
