Ginni is a Registered Nurse who completed a Bachelor of Nursing at Waikato Institute of Technology in 2009. She previously worked in a large GP practice in Hamilton before developing a special interest in skin cancer and dermoscopy. Ginni completed a Certificate in Dermoscopy through the Skin Cancer College of Australasia in 2014 and went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science at University of Auckland in 2018. She had been working in a Skin Cancer Clinic in Hamilton prior to making the move to beautiful Queenstown. It was through this role that her passion in skin cancer prevention and detection grew and she found great satisfaction in supporting people through their journey with skin cancer. She has been with Skin Institute as Clinical nurse coordinator/theatre nurse since 2021.
Ginni has now chosen to further specialise in this field and is working through the Advanced Certificate in Dermoscopy with HealthCert.
