Special offers or promotions that appear in a publication or our email newsletter may only be redeemed until the date specified in that publication or email newsletter. Other conditions may also apply.

 

Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are available and are valid for three (3) years from date of purchase for the treatment specified. If no treatment is specified then they may be used for the following services or product offered by the Skin Institute clinic where the gift voucher is being redeemed, to the dollar value specified.

Gift vouchers may only be redeemed for:

  • All appearance medicine consults & treatments including anti-wrinkle and dermal filler injectables.
  • Advanced skin consults & treatments
  • Skincare product/s

Gift vouchers may be redeemed at any Skin Institute clinic, nationwide, where the above services are offered.

Gift vouchers may not be used in conjunction with any other special promotions or offers. They cannot be refunded. No change or credit can be given.

 

Loyalty Cards

  • Customers Loyalty cards are available for use in clinic only on Retail purchases and/or Appearance Medicine Treatments.
  • Customer Loyalty cards are unavailable for purchases made on our online Skin Store.
  • Receive one loyalty stamp for every $100 spent on Retail Product &/or Appearance Medicine Treatments.
  • Collect 10 stamps and receive $100 off next treatment &/or product purchase.
  • This is valid for one year from date of first purchase/treatment.
  • Loyalty stamps may not be collected in conjunction with any other promotional offer or on discounted treatments or products.
  • Standard Terms and Conditions apply.
  • Staff are exempt from participating in this loyalty programme.

 

Prepay Treatments

  • If you purchase a Prepay series for treatments you will save an amount according to the pricing schedule. Promotional discounts are not applicable to Prepay treatments as they are already discounted.
  • There is no refund on Prepay for change of mind and the credit is not transferable to other individuals, treatment areas or outside of Skin Institute. The only exception is if a Prepay is purchased prior to a consultation and subsequently at consultation we find you unsuitable for treatment or if we are unable to fulfil or complete your treatment; you can either refund or transfer your credit to another treatment.
  • If post consultation your medical suitability changes deeming you unsuitable for treatment, we will extend your expiry date to one (1) year or apply the amount as a credit for you or one nominated other to use towards other treatments.
  • Prepays have an expiry date of 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • 24 hours’ notice is required for any Prepay appointment cancellations.  If less than 24 hours notice is given, a 50% cancellation fee may be incurred and no shows may be charged at full price.
  • You agree to these terms by purchasing Prepay.

 

Refer a Friend Programme

The Refer a Friend voucher entitles the bearer to one Free cosmetic consultation & 20% off their first treatment.
The Referring friend receives a $50 Skin Institute voucher posted to them to redeem at a Skin Institute Clinic.
The Refer a Friend voucher can be redeemed at any Skin Institute Clinic which offers Appearance Medicine Treatments. It may not be redeemed on surgical procedures. An altered, lost or stolen voucher will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed. This voucher is not redeemable at Skin Institute Online Store or redeemable for cash. Cash will not be given for any unused amount. This gift voucher (“voucher”) is issued by Skin Institute Limited. Voucher is valid for one year from date of issue/ Some procedures are not available at all Clinics. Full T&C’s apply.

  • Excludes prepay treatments
  • Skin Institute Staff are exempt from participating in this Refer a Friend programme.

 

Appearance Medicine consultation
An Appearance Medicine consultation of typically 45 minutes is booked with a nurse for a fee of $100 (Appearance Medicine Doctor $210). The $100 consultation fee can be redeemed when the client purchases any service/s or product (there is no minimum spend) within 3 months of the original appointment. This offer does not apply to already discounted products and services. An Appearance Medicine consultation is a forum to discuss your skin type, address a particular skin concern or to discuss a cosmetic procedure/treatment that you may be interested in.

You will be given printed information about the products and procedures discussed to take home. Once you have read through this, we suggest you make a full consultation to discuss these in depth.

 

Spot Checks
A Spot Check is for checking 1 mole or lesion of concern that the patient has identified prior to their appointment. A Spot Check is not a Skin Cancer Consultation, but rather the chance to have 1 suspicious mole or lesion checked and assessed.  The spot to be checked is to be identified by the patient for the Clinician to check at the beginning of the appointment.

The patient will be notified of the findings of this Spot Check. If further consultation, a biopsy or treatment is advised or recommended, then we recommend the patient to have a Skin Cancer Consultation.  If the patient chooses to have the Skin Cancer Consultation, they will incur the relevant Skin Cancer Consultation fee.

If consultation, a biopsy or treatment is advised or recommended and the patient does not wish to proceed with Skin Institute, then a copy of the Spot Check consultation notes will be either given to the patient directly or electronically sent to the patient’s GP. Any additional referral service to other parties will require a formal consultation that will incur the appropriate consultation and procedure charges of the provider.  It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure that the recommended treatments or investigations are carried out with a registered health provider of their choice in a time appropriate manner.  Although all care is taken, no examination can be completely accurate in detecting and diagnosing skin cancer. Furthermore, the discovery of suspicious lesions may not mean the presence of cancer.

 

Free Veins Assessment

The “Free Veins Assessment” is defined as a “brief consultation and assessment of the legs to check for varicose veins and determine if a full consultation or further investigation is required”. The appointment is no longer than 20 minutes in duration. One free veins assessment per patient is permitted per 12 months, unless rebooked sooner as determined by the clinical provider.

The patient will be notified of the findings of the veins assessment. If consultation or treatment is required or recommended, then the patient will need to proceed to a formal consultation usually at a second appointment that will incur the appropriate consultation and procedure charges of the provider.

If consultation or treatment is advised and the patient does not wish to proceed with Skin Institute, then a copy of the free veins assessment consultation notes can be provided to the patient upon request.

Any additional referral service to other parties will require a formal consultation that will incur the appropriate consultation and procedure charges of the provider. It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure that the recommended treatments or investigations are carried out with a registered health provider of their choice in a time appropriate manner.

 

Online Shopping Delivery

Delivery is only available to addresses within New Zealand. Purchases may incur a delivery charge, which will be outlined at the shopping cart stage of purchase.

All goods will be delivered by the carrier and method nominated by Skin Institute Limited to the address specified on the order. Rural addresses may attract additional fees. Non–receipt of any goods must be notified to Skin Institute Limited within seven (7) days of the order date.

The delivery time of your product will depend on what region you are located in. Within Island: Overnight; Between North and South Island: 2-3 days. For areas that are Out of Service or Rural please allow a further 2-4 days.

Orders will be processed within 2-3 working days depending on stock availability. If an item is temporarily unavailable, you will be advised and informed of estimated delivery date.

 

Online Shopping Returns and Replacement

Unopened products in their original packaging will be accepted for a refund if returned within 30 days of the date of purchase. Makeup products will not be accepted for return/refund. All unopened retail products will be given to the clinic manager to assess the reasons for return and determine if a refund should be given.

Any goods damaged in transit can be returned in original packaging. Skin Institute Limited must be notified of any such damage within three (3) days of receiving the order. At this time, the return process will be advised. Once the damaged item has been receipted a replacement item will be dispatched.

 

SkyLab

The SkyLab private laboratory option is only available to Skin Institute patients who’ve had a consult with a Skin Institute provider and the requirement for a biopsy or excision has been recommended. The SkyLab diagnostic fee is an addition to any other consult or treatment fees.

 

Arrival Time for Cosmetic Treatments
Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time for your appointment as arriving late will not only lessen your time spent with us, but the effectiveness of your treatment also. In some cases your appointment may need to be rescheduled to another date and time. As a courtesy to all our clients, treatments are completed as scheduled.

 

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy for Appointments
We understand that sometimes it is necessary for you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Out of consideration for others, we kindly ask that you provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours or no notice is given, a cancellation fee may apply.
