Dr Megan Reilly is a Queenstown-based doctor specialising in skin cancer detection, skin cancer surgery and varicose vein treatment.
She graduated from the University of Otago and gained early clinical experience in diverse environments including Antarctica and rural Australia, before developing a strong focus in Skin Cancer Medicine at a specialist clinic in Melbourne, Australia.
Megan holds Fellowships with both the Royal New Zealand and Royal Australian Colleges of General Practitioners. She has completed advanced training in Skin Cancer Surgery, Advanced Dermoscopy, Histopathology and Venous Disease. She is also qualified in venous ultrasound to support comprehensive diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins, including endovenous ablation and sclerotherapy.
As Skin Institute’s Innovation Lead, Megan has led the introduction of AI-driven technologies into clinical practice, including digital total body skin imaging to support earlier detection of skin cancer.
Megan is Vice-President of the New Zealand Skin Cancer Doctors Society and is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
