Dr Mark Craig trained at medical school in Edinburgh and undertook some years in surgical training particularly in Ear, Nose and Throat surgery, before then entering general practice.
Mark moved to Auckland from London in 2010 and has since worked in several central Auckland practices. His other interest in medicine is ‘Lifestyle Medicine’ which he has undertaken further qualifications in, and optimising wellness/ preventative medicine – aiming to treat the causes of health problems rather than just the symptoms.
Outside of medicine, Mark wangles two teenage boys, loves the outdoors and is a keen sportsman, having represented New Zealand on several occasions overseas at age group triathlon. He has a keen interest in environmental health and climate change prevention, particularly through personal behaviour change.
