What is Cosmelan?

Cosmelan is one of the world’s best selling depigmentation peels.

Cosmelan is a product that can treat all types of pigmentation such as melasma, post-inflammatory pigmentation, solar and senile lentigo (age spots) and freckles.

Cosmelan is a peel procedure to reduce surface pigment followed by a special skincare regime to reduce pigment over three months. This treats the source of pigment by reducing melanin overproduction at the melanocyte.

Whether it’s skin ageing caused by continuous sun exposure, facial blemishes from excessive pigmentation or other more general imperfections caused by melanin, dark blemishes are more and more commonplace problems today.

As such, discolouration, especially on the hands and face, is becoming one of the greatest aesthetic concerns of both the modern man and woman.

How does Cosmelan work?

The unique, multi-ingredient, melanin-inhibiting depigmentation peel is suitable for all skin types.

The Cosmelan procedure reduces the skin’s natural melanin production by restricting the production of melanin to provide an even complexion.

Dull skin, dark spots, dry areas, blemishes, and even acne scars can all be significantly decreased with the peel.

The ongoing use of the Cosmelan II cream for post-salon treatment will continue to reduce the likelihood of the hyper-pigmentation returning.

Cosmelan is up to 95% effective for dramatically addressing areas of hyperpigmentation, melisma, and blotchy or scarred skin.

If you are undergoing any other skin treatments, especially ones which include glycolic acid, you must stop these completely at least one week prior to attending your Cosmelan Depigmentation treatment.

The Cosmelan Depigmentation treatment can only be administered by trained professionals and you should continue with the support products at home, on a daily basis, according to the guidelines indicated.

What Results will I see?

As the Cosmelan Depigmentation treatment is safe for all ethnicities and skin tones, anyone seeking out a fresher, more even complexion is an ideal candidate.

Within a week, clients will see skin blemishes begin to fade significantly, and a brighter complexion will break through.

After a couple of weeks, the skin will take on a dramatically shinier, healthier glow.

These results will continue to improve even further over the following weeks when the full benefits of a Cosmelan Peel can be seen.

What is Melanin?

As well as language, culture, eye shape, and hair colour, we’re all very different when it comes to the unique colour of our skin.

Skin colour is determined by the pigment known as melanin, which we all possess, just in different ratios. Melanin is produced by cells called melanocytes.

Skin blemishes of melanic origin on the face and body are now a more common complaint among many of us.

Any skin discolouration and pigmentation features we each individually possess are caused by many of these environmental factors that are not always within our control such as age, genetics, race, gender, sun exposure, acne, hormonal fluctuations, pregnancy or menopause, and even the use of oral contraceptive.

It’s only possible to remove unattractive skin blemishes and recover the smoothness of the skin with a treatment that has a direct effect on the intimate formation process of the pigment (melanin).

Thankfully, all the skin issues mentioned so far can be successfully addressed with the revolutionary new Cosmelan Depigmentation Peel.

The top-selling brand Mesoestetic Cosmelan treatment, which our expert technicians are trained to use, works to lighten visible skin discolourations and positively impact the cell cycle that causes pigment to surface.

The cosmetic treatment affects the cells directly responsible for skin pigmentation by decreasing any colour production to significantly reduce and even eliminate the appearance of unattractive blemishes.

For up to 95% reduction with the world’s leading and most effective treatment for pigmentation caused by melanin.
