Sue began her nursing career after registering as a Nurse in 1989 and has worked in a variety of rewarding healthcare settings throughout New Zealand Australia and the UK. This experience includes neurosurgery, surgical nursing, intensive care and midwifery, where she developed a strong foundation in clinical excellence and compassionate patient care was developed.
As a Registered Midwife, Sue has worked with women and their families across New Zealand and Australia. These experiences reinforced the importance of listening, building trust and providing personalised care tailored to each individual’s needs.
A passion for skin health led Sue to commence employment with Skin Institute as a Practice and Theatre Nurse. In this role, valuable experience has been gained assisting with skin cancer lesion surgeries while further developing my knowledge of skin health. Her skills were later extended into Dermapen® dermal needling.
Sue genuinely enjoys helping people achieve healthier skin and feel their best. Committed to ongoing education and professional development, she has a particular interest in further expanding her expertise in early skin cancer detection and early intervention. Sue’s approach is warm, caring and patient-focused, and she takes pride in creating a comfortable environment where clients feel supported, informed and confident throughout their skin health journey.
