Tanya graduated from medical school in 1991 at Aberdeen University in Scotland where she worked for 23 years in rural Scotland in urgent care and as a GP, with an interest in skin cancer surgery and traumatic wound management.
Tanya moved to New Zealand with her family in 2018 and is now enjoying living on a lifestyle block with her husband, daughter, two cats, dog and adopted horses. She continues to work in both urgent care and skin cancer medicine. Tanya holds the Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and is currently working towards her diploma.
