Arterial Vascular Scanning

Skin Institute Wellington now accepts referrals for Arterial Scanning. Our experienced Sonographers can perform a comprehensive scan to determine the blood flow through the arteries. This may be for monitoring or recurrence of symptoms. A full report of the findings will then be sent to the referring GP.

Arterial scans can be performed for the following

  • Lower limb arteries
  • Carotid
  • Aorta
  • Renal
  • Graft surveillance

Non-insured patient pricing

Skin Institute is an Affiliated Provider to Southern Cross, so patients may claim the cost of the diagnostic analysis if their policy allows. If the patient does not have medical insurance, the following prices apply:

Arterial Scanning services are available every Tuesday at our centrally located Wellington clinic.
