After graduating as a nurse in 2019 Sinead went straight into ward nursing at the Burns and Plastic Surgery unit at Hutt Hospital. This ignited a passion for skin, wounds and skin cancers. Sinead moved into a nursing role at a designated skin cancer clinic that enabled the ability to specialise specifically in skin cancer.
Since then she has completed her dermoscopy qualifications through the Australasia Skin Cancer College, gaining the Certificate of Dermoscopy as well as the Advanced Clinical Certificate of Dermoscopy – passing with Distinction.
Sinead continues to pursue further study and is currently in the process of gaining her nurse prescribing qualification which will further enhance her clinical practice.
