Emsella – The Treatment for Pelvic Floor weakness

Incontinence can cause anxiety, frustration and low self-esteem. Do you or someone you know avoid certain activities or not going places due to the fear of bladder leakage? Don’t let urinary incontinence take control of your life any longer.

Regain your self-confidence with the revolutionary Emsella chair – this unique technology revolutionizes women’s intimate health and wellness by providing those suffering from incontinence with a completely non-invasive option. Strengthen your pelvic floor while regaining enjoyment of life and physical activities.

It's not just for women!

Emsella is also a revolutionary treatment for male urinary incontinence and Erectile Dysfunction. It is non-invasive and allows patients to remain fully clothed throughout the entire session. Emsella harnesses the power of focused electromagnetic technology, called HIFEM, to stimulate the entire male pelvic floor muscle.

Currently only available in Queenstown.

How Emsella chair works

The Emsella chair utilises HIFEM (High Intensity Focused Electro Magnetic Energy) to stimulate deep pelvic floor muscle contractions while you sit fully clothed on the chair. A single treatment delivers approximately 1100 Pelvic Floor contractions, restoring strength and nerve control. Re-educating the pelvic floor is important for incontinent patients, women after childbirth and those with decreased intimate satisfaction.

We recommend six treatments, scheduled twice a week for three weeks. Some patients may require a maintenance treatment every 6-12 months. Each treatment takes about 30 minutes and you remain fully clothed.
