The Skin Institute has treated over 20,000 patients with skin cancer over the last ten years. We are the largest private multidiscipline centre in New Zealand. Our team of specialists and nurses are all post graduate trained in the management of skin cancer. We are the only centre to offer all disciplines of advanced cancer management, from mole mapping to advanced surgery.

Skin cancer is prevalent
Dr Mark Gray from the Skin Institute recently appeared on TV3's Sunrise discussing a recent Trans-Tasman study which found Kiwis to be three times more susceptible to melanoma. The study identifies six factors that increase your risk of developing skin cancer – in some cases making you up to twenty times more likely to contract the deadly disease. Advanced treatment
Mohs micrographic surgery is an advanced treatment for the removal of skin cancer. The Skin Institute in New Zealand, headed up by lead Mohs surgeon Dr Mark Gray and his multidisciplinary team provide this highly specialised procedure.
