LipoSelection® Liposuction
LipoSelection® by VASER® is a specialised procedure that removes fatty tissue from selected areas. It combines patented technology with advanced surgical techniques to break up and remove fatty tissue efficiently from the abs, arms, back, hips, knees, calves, love handles, neck and chin, saddlebags and thighs.
How does it work?
The unique VASER® technology used during LipoSelection® targets fat with sound waves. The procedure is efficient and precise because the sound waves it emits break up fatty tissue while leaving surrounding tissues largely undisturbed. Treatment with the VASER® system has been reported to produce less pain than traditional Liposuction methods, low to minimal bruising and swelling, and fewer complications.
What can be achieved?
Its patented sound wave technology is highly precise, enabling the surgeon to perform the LipoSelection® procedure even in the most delicate areas, such as inner thighs, arms, chin and neck. The result is smooth and natural.

The typical procedure is a day stay and performed under intravenous sedation. The procedure will take approximately 90 minutes.
The Vaser® technology is efficient and precise and has been reported to produce low to minimal pain, low to minimal bruising and swelling, and few complications. The surrounding structures such as nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue remain largely undisturbed.

The typical procedure is a day stay and performed under intravenous sedation. The procedure will take approximately 90 minutes.
After treatment
An elastic compression garment is worn for 24 hours per day during the first week and 12 hours per day in the second and third weeks. The longer the garment is worn, the better the compression and contouring that is achieved. There will be swelling and sometimes bruising.
By the end of the second week most of the bruising will have disappeared, sutures will have dissolved and some normal activities including non-strenuous lower body work-outs
can be resumed.
After one month all exercise can be resumed. The healing process will be well under way. There may be some tingling as numbness around the chin area subsides, although may persist for several months.
