Often overlooked, the chin may alter the look of the face dramatically. Patients undergoing a rhinoplasty may be disappointed in their end result if an under or over projected chin is missed. An under projected chin may make the nose seem larger than it really is, leading to an over resection of the nose resulting in small features.

Making the chin more prominent

The chin may be enlarged using the patients own bone, either a mentoplasty, pulling forward the chin, using a bone graft, or with a chin implant.

Making the chin smaller

This is achieved by shaving off small amounts of bone until the desired effect is reached.

Planning a Mentoplasty Operation

We model all expected results on computer prior to surgery to give you a realistic expectation of your final results.

Scarless surgery

All incisions are done within the mouth under a combination of local anaesthetic and sedation if needed. General anaesthetic is not needed.
